hotfix 195395 for backup exec 2010 R3

We would like to install hotfix 195395 for backup exec 2010 R3

It does not state that remote agents require update or server / remote servers require reboot in Prerequisites or Post requisites.

On the otherhand it clearly mentions file updates for backup exec agents which makes me wonder.

 

Can someone tell me whether remote agents will be update and will these servers require a restart?

    Hi, ALWAYS update your remtoe agents after updating your media server. If no updates are applicable, the update report will state this and the process will therefore stop. Restarting may/may not happen. If the AOFO option is installed on a remote server for instance, it will need a restart. You can schedule downtime just in case a restart is needed...rather be safe than sorry if you can't restart a server (if in a tightly controlled environment). Thanks!
