Hyper-v backup, taking backup of the vhdx files

Question

Hi

I am experiencing some problems with the backup of a hyper-v host, the problem is that i take backup of the folder with the vhdx files and it goes through like it suppoes to, but when i want to restore som vhdx disks they are missing from the restore pane&nbsp;

The two pictures below show the same folder in backup and restore pane

This is the selection in backup job &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

this is the selection in rstore and as it shows there is no vhdx files available&nbsp;

&nbsp;

You can only backup VHD and VHDX files when you are using the Hyper-V Agent. Ordinary backups will skip these files
