Hyper-v

Hi,

we are having a unresolve issue with our Hyper-v server and BE15.

On the media server that is also one of our Hyper-v servers, when create a job I can see all of the virtual servers there and we can run a backup of the VMs.

our problem is when we want to restore the Vm's. to resotre we go to the Backup and Resotre right click on the media server name and choose restore, when we go to the Hyper-v we mis 4 or 5 of our virtual servers! we did try to restore from the Resotre Wizard with the same result.

Any idea why when we go to restore we mis some of the VM's?

    Your first point of call when troubleshooting is to check the Job Logs and see if the server has been included in there. You should also make sure there are no exclusions for those particular servers where they would be left off the backup.

      Thanks for the reply,

      when I go the Hyper-v server and right click on and choose Restore and go to the Hyper-v node there we must be able to see all of the virtual servers regardles of, if they heve been backed up or not! am I right?
