Import catalogs from old server

I updated our Backup Exec (well reinstalled it from scratch). So instead of BE15 on 2008, I am not running BE16 on Windows 2012.

I used https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH129826 in order to get my old catalog into the new installation, but ended up in at screwed installation.

Did a reinstall, and how (without recataloging) do I import my old catalog into the new server?

    Hi,

    That TN should work if you follow it step-by-step.

    If not, the only other way is to catalog your backup media which will add the information back into the blank BEDB.

    This would be the long way around though.
