I'm getting error messages on a restore job (network lost) that suggest the ol'l IRPStackSize value requires to be created and made but it does not mention for OS's 2008 and above, is this registry entry still valid / required in newer Windows Server OS's like 20008,2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2? I am still on 2010 R3 BE.
It might help if you gave us more details of the symptoms of your actual provblem and/or post us links to the information you are reading.
The registry key you refer to is a Microsoft setting and not specific to Backup Exec and as such it would be difficult to provide a better answer without more information.
