Is VMware CBT setting enabled by Backup Exec Agent ?

Looking for some clarification;

If a Virtual machine doesn't have the CBT setting enabled does Backup Exec enable it on the first run of a VMware based backup job? 

(I believe NetBackup can does this with appropriate options set)

    No. BE does not enable / disable / reset CBT for VMs.

    You have to enable CBT by yourself. See the procedure in this document http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH197311

    Thanks, I'm fine with enabling CBT via PowerCLI, was just checking to ensure the work was actually neccessary.
