JOB BACKUP TO A SPECIF BARCODE TAPE

Good afternoon,Could anyone tell me if it is possible to create a job and point it directly to a specific barcode tape?In the current settings I use, I can only point to the tape library, tape drive, disk or some slot.BACKUP EXEC VERSION:21.3TAPE: LTO-7Best Regards,

Do you have this requirement most of the time ? Just wanting to understand how often this ask is put to use ?
Normally on a stand-alone drive you can put the specific tape on which you want to write to.

In a library we provide the software partitioning (as you show in the screenshot) feature which helps the admin to direct the job to a particular slot or group of slots. Maybe have one slot of that particular bar code tape so that the particular tape is only picked up from that slot. In BE we cannot explicitly select which tape you want the backup to go. We just treat them as a group and select the one as per the media management rules https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100017917
