Location of Backup Exec files

I'm wondering if there is a document that tells you where each file for Backup Exec is installed.  I know that several of the files are located in a backup exec directory, but I was wondering what files are installed in the c:\windows and c:\windows\system32 directory.

The reason I'm asking is, my c:\ drive is running low on space and I need to upgrade Backup Exec from v12.0 to v12.5.  I'm planning on purchasing a new server, but at the moment this is all I have.  The directory that contains the backup exec files sits on another drive with plenty of space, so this shouldn't be a problem.  I'm just wondering what has too be installed on the c:\ drive so I could possibly see how much space I need.  The database also sits on the c:\ drive.

If I could wait until I get a new server I would, but that isn't an option at the moment.

Thanks.

  •  I am thinking about downgrading from Backup Exec v12.0 to v11d.

The reason I'm doing this has to do with a StoreVault S550 (now owned by NetApp).  I am not able to restore a LUN to the device via NDMP and I found out that v12.0 is not supported with this device.  I don't know if this is the issue or not, so I thought I would try the downgrade option.

Any tips on downgrading?  Do I just uninstall the current version of Backup Exec?
