looking for right Backup Solution...........
Does BE or NBU can be used to work over the internet to backend SAN storage?
Any help will be appreciated......
- Using Backup Exec CASO (Enterprise Server Option) and another BE server on the remote site, you can backup to the primary site (dedupe folder) and then using Optimized Dedupe, transfer the data to the remote media server connected to the SAN storage. It probably won't work if it's just a SAN on the other side with no intelligence (read: media server) there. Thanks!
