Need to Restore data from tape
Hello,
Our customer needs to restore data from an old dds4 tape. Backups were made with Backup Exec. Is there any way to download Backup Exec somwhere thatr supports dds4 tapes?

I doubt that there is a supported verion of Backup Exec that also supports DDS4 tape drives.
I would start with http://www.backupexec.com/compatibility and see what BE versions support what hardware and software. If you are restoring more than simple files, you need to pay attention to agent versions, etc.
I believe that newer versions of Backup Exec will generally still work with most older hardware, but it obviously would not be officially suported.
