oracle database authentication failed

we have two linux nodes with oracle database.I need to take the backup of oracle database.I installed agent in one of the node.I scheduled the backup in backupexec16. Some times the test is failing and success some times when i test the databse.Also when i close backup exec 16 application and open it again, always asking for root password
