Problem - Ready; Backup Exec server not available

Hello there, 

I am duplicating old L6 tapes to L8 tapes for a few weeks without any issues. Few days ago I've prepared new duplication job and it's holding on status "Ready; Backup Exec server not available". I don't know what happened. I tried to re inventory tape, re catalog tape, restarting server - nothing help.

I can see that some backup sets can be duplicated and some (most) showing mentioned error. I' am also adding screenshot.

I hope someone met this problem and could help.

    1) Is this the only tape that failed?

    2) Can you duplicate the tape onto disk?

    3) Check that there are no alerts asking you to load another tape.

    1. No I have a problem with more tapes.
    2. I cannot duplicate tape onto disk storage - there is the same error.
    3. There are no alerts asking to loading tapes - job just doesn't start.

      1.  What is the tape drive used to read the L6 tapes?

      2.  Do a verify on the tapes which fail.  It could be that they are not readable.

        I am using Dell PowerVault TL2000 with ULT3580-HH6 drive. It has 2 drivers: one is connected to the server with error, second one is connected to server where we have newest version of BE. Tape is readable on the new one. 

        A question may arise here: so why I don't use new server to migrate data. Catalog... on the old one I have catalogs of all tapes so on new I have to catalog each of 200 tapes which I have to migrate what takes a lot of time.
