Ralus agent 5204 on Oracle Linux

Hi All,

Does BE ralus agent 5204  support Oracle Linux 5.11? I am unable to browse the servers content to create my backup jobs.

Media Server - 2010 R3 (version 13 Rev 5204) 

Media Server OS - Server 2008 R2

ralus agent version - 13.0.5204.0

agent installed on - Oracle Linux 5.11

    Per the SCL - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=tech137682

    Oracle Linux 4 and 5.1 are supported by BE 2010 R3 (5204)

    What version can I use on the server? Do I have to upgrade the version of the Media Server as well to facilitate this?

    Both BE 2012 and BE 2014 support Oracle Linux version 5 only upto update 7 and then support for version 6 begins. Let me check internally if 5.11 is supported by any version or not. And if it is, then yes, the media server also has to be upgraded.
     

    EDIT**

    Just checked internally and only update upto 7 was certified for version 5 and any update beyond 7 hasn't been for the version 5 series.
