redirect restore tree from restored folder down

When redirecting a restore to a different location, I want to preserve the tree from the restored folder down. However, when I select Preserve Tree, I get the whole path including the parent folders. How can I make this work?
Backup and Recovery
Backup Exec
Restore
User Group

    Hello,

    this is by design:

    Example:
    On the D-drive:
    We backed up the folder named SAMPLE1 which contains D:\sample1\example2\test3..

    If we perform a redirected restore of the folder named EXAMPLE1 with Preserve tree, we will see SAMPLE1 tree as well. Backup Exec restores the entire TREE structure and this is by design.
