Restore of Exchange 2003 mailboxes

Question

We have upgraded from Excange 2003 to Exchange 2016 and from BackupExec 2012 to the latest version 14.2. Old Exchange servers is decomissioned.

We would like to restore (extract)&nbsp;individual mailbox from old Exchnage 2003 backup. We can see backup in backup sets, it even shows&nbsp; mailbox stores, but not happens when clicking on Restore.

We can&nbsp;see .edb files in backup container so&nbsp;extraction is possible with many third party tools. Is it possible with BackupExec?

Thanks for advice but it does not help in our case.

When&nbsp;I select Storage tab and browse to the backup set from which&nbsp;I want to restore and then click Restore button, nothing happens.

I suppose this might be because Exchange 2003 server from which backup was done does not exist any more and new Exchange 2016 server (with the same name as the old one) uses completely different method for backup.
