Restore on Backup going to c: when I am aking it to go to J:
credentials are not passing either
it fillled up my c: drive then claimed insufficient space e000848f
insufficient disk space

- If you are restoring from tape, the backup set needs to be staged to disk first and the default staging area is c:\temp
No Its already staged to disk.
i'm restoring from disk to another disk
There must be a way to redirect the backup and staging?
- Post some screenshots of how you set up the redirection and what you are trying to restore
I do not have sufficient space to write to c:
J: does but can't redirect. getting a browse error
Looking at your screenshots, \\server\j: is not a proper path, unless you really have a server named server.
Can you redirect one file restore to the backup server and see if that works? If it does then it is a permissions problem.
But you also say that you cannot browse anything?
