Restore tape from other backupexec installation

Hi!
I just installed backupexec on a new server. I'm trying to restore a tape that I have backup on another server.

First I Got wrong block size error when I tried to Catalog the tape.
After setting "read SCSI-pass mode" I got the error message:
end of data was encounterered before a set map could be located

How Can I restore this tape?
I've tried to set the blocksize to another than default. but didn't work.

It's the same backupexec and tape driver as in the other server. I took it out and installed it in the new server.

    Yes it was.

    When I got the error message:
    "end of data was encounterered before a set map could be located"
    it read about 4mb. but it's a full 40gb tape. When I go to restore only about 5 files is there.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    --Before running Catalog Job on tape , have you ran Inventory on the tape ?
    --check for any related event id generated ..
