Restores files with ntbackup

Hi, 
Can I restore files backed up with BE with ntbackup?

    Ntbackup can restore files backed up by BE as long as there are no any compression (software or hardware) used to make the backup

    Flat files (No database files) backed up without  using Encrypion or SW Compression should restore OK using NTBackup
