RETRY JOB FAILED

Hi,


I have a doubt.


I will show an example of configuration in  one environment.


I have a selection list with ten servers and I created a police with this selection list.


When the job of this selection list runs, if I had a failed status in one server for example, can I retry the job for only this server that returned failed status? Or have I to do a manually proccess? Or There is an other form to make this automatically?

    I think the data written by the failed job to the media will be there on the media. So, just for having the backup of a failed server, just create a job for taking backup of that failed job. Unfortunately, there is no checkpoint capability available with Backup Exec. It is there with Net Backup.

    Just because of this, i suggest you to create selection lists with lesser number of servers. If any servers backup failed, you can just run that backup job instead of running all the servers backup again.

    You cannot retry the the job for 1 specific server from the selection list.

    You need to rerun the job and BE will backup all the servers in the list
