sdr recovery with drive X.

HI,  I have a hard disk failure and I'm trying to use the SDR disk to recover from a full backup.  However, before my time the server was created with a drive X and so I get an error that drive X can not be used.  Drive X is a part of the required recovery set.  How do I solve this issue?  Thanks
