Support for IDR from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003

Are the following scenarios supported on 10.d?

A) Master Server Windows 2000 SP4. Media Server Windows 2003 SP1. Backup and Restore on the 2003 (The whole system, with IDR).

B) Master Server Widnows 2000 SP4. Remote Agent on a Windows 2003 SP1. Backup and Restore on the 2003 (The whole system, with IDR).

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

The operating systems Windows 2000 SP 4 , Windows 2003 SP1 are supported with 10d..

Could you explain what do you mean by Master Server..?

    Domain Controller..?

  • I'm logged with another user, but it was me that posted the question:

    Master Server = Primary Server.

I know that those OS are supported, what I want to know is if I can RESTORE with IDR when the primary server (in a SSO configuration) is Windows 2000 (In the 9.1 Admin Guide it states that is not supported, but I cannot find a YES or a NO in the 10.x Admin Guide) and the media/secondary is Windows 2003 or Windows 2003 SP1.

    Thanks.
