System State Backup
I am exploring different backup strategies for a hyper-v environment. So far i have been backing up the VM's with simplified disaster recovery, which in my opinion would help me recover in case of a disaster, using B2D. The servers run several different windows server roled (exchange in a DAG, SQL in a cluster, File and print, systems center, and a few symantec products). Suggestions by fellow sys admins are that we consider sytem state backups as it will preserve space. Frankly speaking I have very limited knowledge is this field and would rather not skate on thin ice. I am looking for short recovery time objective.

By file-level, I mean it becomes a GRT backup of your data...you need the RAWS agent installed on each VM you want this to happen on.
