To Symantec: Support for Ubuntu Servers in BackupExec 13?
Hi!
Are there any plans to add support for remote agents in newer versions av BackupExec? As i understand Backupexec 12 och 12.5 doesnt support backup of Ubuntu Sever v8.04?

- This would be neat. My company's using Ubuntu servers and trying to get BE12 working on them is annoying.
- I would like to add my vote to this also. Until Ubuntu is supported I will just be archiving tar files on a remote Windows server and then backing up with BE 12.5. It works but is a pain and another solution would be appreciated.
- Ubuntu 8.10 support is (in theory) part of the BE 2010 release - would suggest you review the SCL for this version once the product is released.
