Update to catalog index (Catalog index database) failed & Job Engine service crash
Hi!
We did fresh install of Backup Exec 2012 and now we want to catalog old backup to disk folder (created with 2010 R3). It's quite big, about 1.2 TB. Folder is on network share.
After catalog job runs for about an hour and catalogs for about 130GB data, job engine crashes. This happens also after SP1 for BackupExec 2012 was installed.
Windows application log show abundance (at least hundred) of following errors:

Run the catalog operation on some media files of the B2D folder (not on complete folder once) and see if any progress. If not, create a new catalogs folder and run the catalog operation.
To create new catalogs folder
1) Stop BE services
2) Rename existing Catalogs folder to Catalog.old.
3) Restart BE services.
I would also suggest you to log a support case with Symantec.....
