Upgrade from 2012 to 2015

Hello I was wondering is it possible to upgrade from 2012 to 2015 with out too many snags or do I need to totally unistall 2012 in order to upgrade to 2015 also I have 8 servers with remote agent 2012 on them do I have to unistall the remote agent in order to upgrade 2015?  And how exactly is the upgrade done, any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

 

the server with backup exec is window server 2008 R2

12.x and Earlier
Backup and Recovery
Backup Exec
Windows Server (2003-2008)

    You can perform a direct upgrade from 2012 to 15. All jobs and configuration will be migrated.
    Agents will need to be also updated but can be done easily from the BE console.
