V-79-57344-759 VFF open failure.

Hi,

Having looked through the posts it seems that i'll have to get the update to stop the above error. The problem is i'm not in a position to do it just now and the error is appearing when i try and recover mail using the restore option on BE2010. I restarted the server which fixed the initial backup of exchange problem but now when i try and restore any mail through Restor-MSinfo store -SG1DB1 it bring up the error.

It worked yesterday when i was practising so why not now and are there any make do fixes?

    Hi Magpie,

     

    You don't mention which version of BE 2010 you're running.

    If BE 2010 R2, make sure you're running the following patch: Backup Exec 2010 R2 Revision 4164 Hotfix 143746

    If you're on anything less than BE 2010 R3 with SP2, consider doing the free upgrade to this.
