Veritas Backup - Corrupt Files

Message is
File is Corrupt \\server\Shadow?Copy?Componenets\System?Service\Event

When the Backup hits this it stops and we must force it to end, do we need to backup this file and can we fix it?

According to the event log on the server in question: there was an error in beremote.exe involving bedsshadow.dll and the application stopped.

Can anyone shed some light on this for us?

    Hi,

    What is the exact error message in job log?

    Are you using AOFO for backups?

    Does this error occur while backing up only shadow copy components?

    Try backing up shadow copy components with NT backup.

    You may also upgrade to 9.1 free of cost. Refer: <>
