VMWare temporary snapshots of Linux VMs are not deleting in BE 12.5

I'm running 12.5 with all the latest patches and for some reason the .vmdk files are not being automatically deleted. These are for a couple of Linux servers. I have another BE 12.5 server that does VMWare backups of Windows servers and the temp .vmdk files are being deleted fine. Not sure if there is there is a significance between Windows and Linux as far as this issue is concerned. Anyone have an idea why these snapshots don't get deleted? Here are my settings:
