Veritas Cloud Point docker platforms

Do i understand it correctly that cloudpoint can only be installed on ubuntu docker instances, or can it also be installed on any os running docker.  Such as coreOS or RHEL 7?

    Hi nbritton, 

    CloudPoint software is shipped as a docker image that spawns several docker containers that run on Ubuntu . 

    Since the software is packaged as a docker image, technically you can use any host that supports docker (RHEL, for example) and then load CloudPoint image into docker and that should spawn of all the requisite Ubuntu containers.

    For production use cases, currently Veritas has qualified CloudPoint to run only on Ubuntu hosts .
