Connecting to veritas sort to check for the latest data collector version

ENVIRONMENT

Product = InfoScale Availability

version = 7.4

HA Nodes = 2

OS = RHEL 7.4

QUERY

HA nodes are critical and we disabled internet on said nodes. Why VRTSexplorer are going to connect internet web ? and seems script has to go on internet. How can I skip this and proceed for VRTSexplorer logs collection.

    Could not found under readme however problem resolved after comment/hash below 2 lines from /opt/VRTSspt/DataCollector/sort/sortdc.conf and then run the ./VRTSexplorer

     

    # The URL of SORT website
    #SORT_URL = "https://sort.veritas.com"

    Hey Zahid.

    There is a switch to disable the internet attempt. I am traveling so I can’t remember but the README file should have details.
