DLL files needed for HA 5.0 and HA 5.1 w.r.t 32 and 64 bit

Hi all,

        I am using Veritas HA 5.0(both 32 bit and 64 bit) and 5.1 (both 32 bit and 64 bit) for my product.I just need the DLL files (vcsdefault.dll / default50agent.dll) that can be used to create my own customization agent.  can anyone share me these files

And also i need to know are all these file contents are same or different ? If they are different what are all the parameters that are getting differed between the files ?

Your help is much appreciated .

    Hi Sri,

     

    These files on in the %VCS_Home%\bin folder. 

     

    You will need to copy it to the %VCS_HOME%\bin\<custom agent name> folder and rename it to <custom agent name>.dll.  The it will run the perl, cmd, or dll files in the same folder for the online, offline, clean and monitor entry points.   This is covered in the Agent Developers Guide which it sounds like you are already using.  The guide for 5.1 is at:  https://sort.symantec.com/public/documents/sfha/5.1sp2/windows/productguides/pdf/VCS_AgentDev_51SP2.pdf
