How to reduce the time switch PostgreSQL between these nodes on Veritas Cluster

Hi all,

I have Veritas Cluster configuration for PostgreSQL on Linux. The cluster includes 2 node. I test with node 1 (active) down, the online time of node 2 is very low (value of this time is large). How to config to this online time fast or this time reduce ?

    You can use CFS for share filesystems, This way you can minimize the downtime splitting the infraestructure /  Database or application.

     

    I don't remember if the postgresql agent is using IMF, if not you can use the Application agent for better time detection.
