Problem with bonding and VCS
Hi,
I have installed recently a new 3-node cluster . VCS MP3 on RHEL 5.4 .
I have serious problem when I start gab service . Just after start the service I lost connection through bond0 (public network).
Content of /etc/llttab
set-node node-test
set-cluster 10
link bond2 eth-00:15:17:bf:80:b7 - ether - -
link-lowpri bond0 eth-00:15:17:bf:80:b5 - ether - -
cat /proc/net/bonding/bond0
Ethernet Channel Bonding Driver: v3.4.0 (October 7, 2008)
Bonding Mode: fault-tolerance (active-backup)
Primary Slave: None
Currently Active Slave: eth2
MII Status: up
MII Polling Interval (ms): 100
Up Delay (ms): 0
Down Delay (ms): 0
Slave Interface: eth2
MII Status: up
Link Failure Count: 0
Permanent HW addr: 00:15:17:bf:80:b5
Slave Interface: eth9
MII Status: up
Link Failure Count: 0
Permanent HW addr: 00:15:17:bf:87:86
In the switch I see mac flapping between the two interfaces. Clearly there's a problem with the low-priority configuration in bond0, but I can't see anything.
Any help?
Thanks.
