SAP HA with VCS and three nodes on Windows.

I would realize  a SAP HA  configuration using VCS  with three nodes :

 

Node 1  with the SCS as switch over component

Node 2  with Database istance as switch over component

Node 3 with enqueue replicator istance as switch over component.

 

This configuration is supported from Symantec on windows ?

    Yes, the configuration is supported by VCS. You can download the SAP agent and the required agent documentation from https://sort.symantec.com/agents All the components that you are planning to cluster are supported with their respective agents. For clustering a fail over capable Enque Server and Enque Replication Server configuration you will need to write a preonline trigger, also detailed in the documentation. By the way in case you are using SAP Netweaver 7.0 version, you will have to configure SAPNW04 agent and if you are using SAP Netweaver 7.1+ versions, you will have to configure using SAPWebAS71 agent.

    If all the three are being configured as application resources, I don't see any issue & looks to be like a usual cluster configuration ?

    Are you planning to use any specific VCS agents for the same ?
