/var/VRTSvcs/diag/

Hello guys,

 

What kind of informaiton are on /var/VRTSvcs/diag/.  We are getting disk space issue and this directory taking more space and when I open the directory there are lots of core files. Is it save to remove?

    Hi,

    This folder is for diagnostic information for "had" process. You may find core files inside this directory which will be generated by "had" process.

    Yes, it is safe to remove & won't cause any problems to running VCS cluster. However these cores files may be useful for finding RCAs related to "had" process. If you want to find why "had" is dumping cores, you may need to raise case with Symantec & upload these cores.
