What could be license strategy ?
Environment
OS = Windows2008
Application = Oracle DB and Oracle developer
Processors on each system = 2
Cores = Each processor quard core
One WIndows Server 2008 machine with Oracle DB (Oracle version 11g) and Oracle developer installed. As we know that VERITAS cluster is a core base licensing irrespective of what is installed. My query is, can we cluster both(application and database) if we purchase the core base licensing.
Not sure what you asking. VCS licence is completely independent of applications (except for replication which requires HA/DR license), so you can installl what ever applications you want and this won't effect the VCS licence.
