CA 10 cannot add user

CA installed and configured (Customer DB exists, added the domain, event log shows synch'd)

The CA client opens (runnig as the service account)

cannot add users (Home, add role assignment)  The dialog box opens, but is disabled.

 

  • Please access the Monitored Employees tab and confirm you have any entries that can be found.  If you don't see or can't find any Monitored Employees, then the synchronization did not sync anything other than Vault Stores and Archives from the Enterprise Vault site.

    By default, CA won't synchronize with any users or groups until you've configured an Employee Group or individual to synchronize with the ActiveDirectory or Lotus Domino Notes Address Book to which the Vault Service Account either belongs or has been given permission to read - or another account has been configured in the Configuration tab's Account Information sub-tab.

    Let us know what you find when you check the Monitored Employees tab as you can only assign rules to employees that are accessible in the Employees tab.

  • Hi,

    We need to add users under the Department in Monitored Employee tab. If department is not exist then create new department and then provide rights and then try to add user in Monitored Employee tab.
