DLO Installation on DC.

 

HI All

 

Query : due to shortage of Hardware one of our Costumer want to Install Symantec DLO on Domain Controller.

 

Is Symantec  support above scenario, if not then what should be the reason behind that.

    Hi,

     

    I've run Backup Exec on a DC (that was also file and print, and Exchange server) and never had any issues.

    Just be aware that if the DC goes down and it is the only 1, then DLO would also die...but there would no reason not to install DLO on this type of server.
