Switch to Symantec Backup Exec Desktop Laptop

Hello,

 

I am currently searching for a backup and recovery option for around 20 – 30 Laptop/Desktops.. Can I have some feedback regarding the Install/Management of Symantec Backup Exec.  I am really looking for a easy to use solution to grab specific folders and back them up for easy restore if necessary.  Does Backup Exec Desktop Laptop have an encryption option as well? Please any feedback is great.  I am really looking for a set it and forget it solution to backup and recovery.

    Hi,

    Refer Administrators Guide for Install\Management related information.

    Yes it has the encryption option.

    Use latest version of Symantec Desktop laptop Option(SDLO) Software which will ideally suits for your need(Folder/File level backups and restores).
