Backup Exec 16 Remote Agent installation failed

Hi,

in my scenario i have backup exec 16 server under member of Ora_group. two client machines under menmber of same group. one client machine under a menber of worgroup. and one machine under a main company domain group.

 

ora_group BE Server and client worki fine.

via BE GUI under Backup-> add server tring to remotely push the agent on workgroup machine it fails. i manually install the agent on said machine but when i run BE agent utility popup "unable to obtain setting for remote agent publishing from the registry" i manually tried to add the BE Server credentials but fails.

same happing with  the  third machine i.e. under company domain machine.

all machines under same network (192.168.0.x), pingable, remote share proper work. only change in membership that i said above.

      Hi,

      the requested issue has been resolved.

      steps listed below;

      1. add ip and hostname enteries all the hosts including BE server

      2. make a new user "BEADMIN", agent push via new user name and passwd, working fine.
