Archive explorer window is blank

Hi,

 

When i browse to my Archive Explorer the window on the right is just blank. I can see mailboxes i have access to in the folder pane on the left and expand the folders but i don't get anything on the right hand window except a blank white screen.

Am using Windows 8, Office 2010 932 bit) and IE10. EV version is 10.0.4.1189.

Nobody else is affected by this. I can browse and restore from 'search vaults' and also from the browser search but the Archive Explorer window is just blank white space. There should normally be a bar at the top of the window i could use to browse and restore items but there is nothing.

Tried re-installing the Outlook add-in but no luck. There are no EV errors in my event log either.

Can anyone advise why the Archive Explorer isn't working?

  • Most probably an issue with IE 10/9 compatability...try viewing it in Compatibility mode or use IE8.

  • Does this happen if you try launching in IE directly?  So copy this url into IE, http://evukserver1/enterprisevault/archiveexplorerui.asp and see what happens.

     

  • I've tried that link and have exactly the same issue. Can see the mailboxes and folders on the left but once you expand them, the window on the right is just a blank white space and you don't see any content.

    Please let me know if there is anything else i can do?

  • Thank you..that seems to have fixed it. Enabled compatability view and now mail is viewable again as it should be ;-)
