is there a way ti use EnterpriseVault for pst archiving without Exchange archiving?
We have Lotus archiving setup locally but more and more users are being migrated to O365. When an O365 user leaves the company we would like to export his mail to pst and then import it to EV archive for longterm retention.
Would this be possible?

Yes. You will need to create a Shared Archive. You can create one for each user, or create a general one, and import PST's there. I would go for seperate ones. Then use the 'import PST' to define in which shared archived pst needs to go

Hello Bothan,
The errors are reasonably clear. You need to open the PST File. You might need to give the VSA permission on the PST.
Check folder "PST Migration failed items". You might need to move these items back to the inbox folder in the PST. Or, these items are corrupt.
Then, the items which are not migrated due to a policy setting "items that were not eligible for archive"
Also for that, you can check in the PST file. Are they perhaps tasks? Contacts? other items you defined to not archive. Check not only the PST policy, but also the Mailbox policy.
To me, this indicates that the import itself works fine, some items are not imported due to configuration on your EV.
