change ev service account password

Hi all,

Please be informed that we are going to change ev service account password.

we are now using EV email and file archiving servers without cluster service. As we checked that we need to change the VSA password in the Vault Admin Console (VAC). (Right-click Directory > Properties > Service Account tab) and Windows Services panel (services.msc) to change the VSA password on all EV services. may I know should I take any action in DB side?

    Hi Ryan,

    No need to do something on the SQL databases/servers.If you change the password via the EV Console, the only thing you need to do is restart the EV ADmin service after the change.

    If you have DA/CA, you need to change the password on the specific service itself. For FSA, it might be you need to change the password on the FSA agent, but I am not sure.
