Change Exchange Primary Domain
need to change Exchange domain. we are not migrating any mailboxes or changing anything with active directory. how does this affect EV? what is needed?

Not done this before, but as with any 'migration', set SynchInMigrationMode registry key to prevent new archives to be created!
You probably will have to define the new domain in EV, and add the Exchange servers again to that. You also will have to create new tasks, and provisioning, search etc. You might want to check with support on this before going ahead.
