Collect/migrate, change migrate path

Hello all,

We use collect and migrate at the moment.
We might be going to a 2nd line storage solution that does data-deduplication (Data Domain?).

I know it is not possible to disable/trun-off collections unfortunately.

Is it possible to change the location to where you are migrating?
I now have the path location greyed out.

When a new solution is being made, the first draft plan is to stop migration, move all 2nd line stored data to the new solution, then enable migration again.
Can I change the migration path when stopped?
If not, can I change something in SQL to refelect a possible new location.

If this is not possible, I am thinking of using a dns-alias perhaps?
