Connect exchange mailbox to existing archive

Hi,

we moved an archive from a centera to an netapp storage. After the GUI based moved the centera archive was closed.

In both archives we have the same amount of items.

 

Now we have the problem, that the exchange mailbox is still matched to the closed centera archive and not to the new netapp archive and the user can not archive any new items.

How can I change the connection from the exchange mailbox to the "new existing" archive?

    Disable the mailbox in the EV console and reenable it pointing to the new archive and synchronize.  If you use Virtual Vault the user will need to do a rebuild of the archive as well after the mailbox is synchronized.

    Have you re-enabled the users? What's the DefaultVaultID in the ExchangeMailboxEntry table showing for some of the problem users?
