Create a standalone EV14 or 15 in the same domain with a new site

The situation is we have the EV 12.5 in the environment working perfectly. Now we want to upgrade the EV version to ver.14 or 15 due to EOL of EV12. We have one iManage system which is using the EV integration feature to retrieve the archived message from EV to handle the archived messages in storage. The problem is the iManage software has no official support for EV14 & above and they told it would be client's own risk. 

Now we want to setup a POC to install a standalone EV14 or 15 server with a new site, a new SQL database in the same domain and we have another Exchange 2016 server for testing the integration function with iManage system. May I know if this setup is possible?

    Hi Gary, as long as you indeed have seperate SQL DB's (use a specific instance if possible), and target only 1 Exchange server you should be fine. Make sure that your provisioning in that POC is not affecting live-users, only those on the Ex2016 server you target.
