We have received an E-discovery licese from symantec, is it for Journal Archiving or DA ?

Will DA work without Journal Archiving, or will it comes with a journal archiving license?(is DA License included jaournaling license too)

DA will allow you to search any archive but ideally you would use journaling to capture all e-mail in your Exchange environment

The Journaling and DA licenses are two different license keys

We archiving exchange mailbox only, can we implement DA with that ?

Yes, you can. DA will allow you to search all your mailbox archives. It does require some thought as to how you will install it so you should either read all the available documentation on hire a professional.

Am a certificed EV Engineer for Exchange ,but never did a DA installation, Can i Use the same EV Server for DA ? is it a straight forward instalation ?
