Enterprise Vault - Moving Exchange 2010 Journal Mailbox to a different Mail Database on the Same Server
Our environment:
- Exchange 2010, two standalone servers - no DAG.
- Enterprise Vault 9.0.1.1073
- NetBackup 7.0.1
We want to move the Exchange Journal Mailbox from it's current database to a newly created database so that we can avoid backing up this Journal Mailbox.
How is this going to inpact our current configuration of Journal Mailbox on the Evault system?
Our current plan:
- Stop Exchange Journaling
- Stop Evault "Exchange Journaling Task"
- Move Journal Mailbox to new database location (on the same server)
- Check to make sure that Journal Vault Store Policy - points to Journal Mailbox
- Start Evault "Exchange Journaling Task"
- Start Exchange Journaling
