Enterprise Vault 11.0
Getting this error when installing Symantec Vault 11.0 for Exchange Enterprise
Vault requires Lotus Notes 8.5.2 and above.
Any thought on how to get around this error?

Yes, This is coming from the deployment scanner and is likely not relevant to you because you are not going to be doing Notes archiving. Deselect, ignore.
I would suggest that if you are installing an older version (14.2 is the new hottness IIRC) and tripping up currently you may be in for an uphill battle. I too am a guy who does not read the IKEA instructions but this one may save you a few hours to take a review.- Do you have a lotus note server?
If you don't have Lotus Notes server:
Check if the following key is set to "Not Installed"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Install
REG_SZ: Domino
